{"id":17670,"date":"2012-07-30T09:37:58","date_gmt":"2012-07-30T14:37:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=17670"},"modified":"2012-07-30T09:37:58","modified_gmt":"2012-07-30T14:37:58","slug":"brock-to-co-host-chemistry-symposium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2012\/07\/brock-to-co-host-chemistry-symposium\/","title":{"rendered":"Brock to co-host chemistry symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Synthetic Pathways and Brock University are hosting the 15th Symposium on the Latest Trends in Organic Synthesis (LTOS-15), to be held August 8-11 in Academic South 203.<\/p>\n<p>The symposium brings together synthetic chemists from academia and industry &#8220;in a format that would allow for maximum exchange of information in an informal, relaxed atmosphere,&#8221; says founder and <a title=\"Tomas Hudlicky\" href=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/cairns-health-bioscience\/canada-research-chairs\/hudlicky\" target=\"_blank\">Canada Research Chair Tomas Hudlicky, Department of Chemistry. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Twenty-two researchers from Canada, the U.S., Germany, Scotland and Australia are scheduled to speak.
