The Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) is hosting nine more free events as part of its annual lecture series.<\/p>\n
Professors in finance, Biological Sciences and other disciplines will share their knowledge as part of the third annual lecture series, which ends May 17. Topics include weather-related risks, grape sour rot and a rapidly developing wine region in China.<\/p>\n
Daryl Somers of the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre and Helen Fisher, an abjunct professor from the University of Guelph Department of Plant Agriculture, will speak about accelerated grape breeding from 3 to 4:30 p.m. today in MacKenzie Chown H313.<\/p>\n
