The title of his thesis is \u201cChemoenzymatic Synthesis of Amaryllidaceae Alkaloids and Their C-1 Analogues.  Symmetry Based Approach to Total Synthesis of Thebaine.\u201d  Examining committee members are:  A. All are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PhD in Biological Sciences Thesis Defence \u2014 Kamal Abubaker<\/strong><br \/>\nKamal Abubaker, PhD student in Biological Sciences, will present his thesis defence on Monday, March 8 at 3:30 p.m. in Sankey Chamber.  The title of his thesis is \u201cCell Wall Degrading Enzymes and Interaction Between Trichoderma Aggressivum and Agaricus Bisporus.\u201d  Examining committee members are: Jeffrey Atkinson, chair; Suha Jabaji, McGill University, external examiner; Alan Castle, supervisor; Martin Head, internal examiner; Charles Despres and Yousef Haj-Ahmad, committee members.
