Washington, Louis Johnson<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The myth-busting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/blackpack\" target=\"_blank\">Black Pack SELLOUT<\/a> comedy tour is making a stop at Brock this month.<\/p>\n<p>Stand-up comedians Billy D. Washington, Vince Morris, B.T. and Louis Johnson will perform at the Centre for the Arts on Feb. 25. The show will include the interactive segment &#8220;Ask a Black Man Anything&#8221; and other humour from a quartet with a suburban middle-class background.<\/p>\n<p>The show is an alternative to the &#8220;negative black images&#8221; and &#8220;profanity and sexual references&#8221; typically associated with black comedy, Washington says in the group&#8217;s promotional material.<\/p>\n<p>SELLOUT stands for serious, educated, laughing, learning, outrageous, unique and talented. The term comes from the group being called &#8220;sellouts&#8221; for being themselves rather than imitating popular urban acts.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At some point in our career, each of us has been accused of not being true to our heritage, culture or profession,&#8221; Washington says.<\/p>\n<p>The group&#8217;s motto is &#8220;Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The group will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Sean O&#8217;Sullivan Theatre. Tickets are $41 for adults, $20 for university and college students and $5 for high school students through the eyeGO program.
