Eric Dolansky, assistant professor of Marketing, has been at Brock for four years. He lives in Oakville with his wife Farah and two children. In addition to teaching and research, he has another claim to fame \u2014 he was a two-time Jeopardy<\/em> champion<\/a> in 2006.<\/p>\n What do you like about your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n I like interacting with the other faculty. I like interacting with the students. I like the freedom to pursue what I\u2019m interested in with my research and the fact that I can more or less set my own schedule. I like working in a field that involves the pursuit of knowledge and disseminating knowledge.<\/p>\n What do you do for fun?<\/strong><\/p>\n I like to play with my kids. My son is five and into Lego and Star Wars and all that fun stuff. My daughter is one and learning new words, which is great to watch.<\/p>\n What\u2019s the last good book you read?<\/strong><\/p>\n I recently read Down and Out in Paris and London<\/em><\/a> by George Orwell. It was an excellent read and often gets overshadowed by some of his better known books. Now I\u2019m reading The Visible Man<\/em><\/a> by Chuck Klosterman, which has a man in pursuit of science bent to it.<\/p>\n
