His sweet potato and apple with maple cr\u00e8me fraiche was voted the best by diners in attendance at Pond Inlet.<\/p>\n<p>Lymburner, as well as celebrity sous chef Neil McCartney, Dean of Applied Health Sciences, received medals for the victory.<\/p>\n<p>Other competitors were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jim Harper (with director of Athetics Robert Hilson) \u2013 meat chili<\/li>\n<li>Tara Lisoy (with Brock University Students\u2019 Union president Daud Grewal) \u2013 roasted garlic and pumpkin<\/li>\n<li>John French (with Mike Plyley, Dean of Graduate Studies) \u2013 borscht<\/li>\n<li>Roger Gallagher (with Barb Daly from the Graduate Students\u2019 Association) \u2013 New England clam chowder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_12844\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12844\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-12844\" title=\"Barb Daly and Roger Gallagher\" src=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/souperstar2011-5-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"Barb Daly and Roger Gallagher\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-12844\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Barb Daly and Roger Gallagher<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The fun competition doubles as the official launch of Brock\u2019s United Way campaign, which runs until Nov. 25. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., pasta dinner at 7 p.m., trivia starting at 8 p.m.<br \/>\nWhere \u2013 Club Roma, 125 Vansickle Rd., St. Catharines<br \/>\nCost &#8211; $25 each. Teams of eight are $200.
