As some questions in this year&#8217;s census have changed, past respondents are invited to complete the census again to adjust their answers as needed.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Your participation is important and, as a University, we recognize the need to commit to and demonstrate transparency and concrete action.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Informed by census insights, Brock is developing its first <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2026\/10\/feedback-sought-on-brocks-first-edid-action-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization (EDID) Action Plan<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">a four-year framework that will help guide the University\u2019s work to advance equity, inclusion, human rights and decolonization. Aligned with our strategic plan and priorities, and built on years of institutional work, the action plan is intended to address systemic barriers and gaps, strengthen institutional accountability and embed EDID into the University\u2019s policies, practices and culture<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Data additionally supports the further development of efforts to enhance the Brock student experience, gaining a better perspective of challenges faced by the Brock community, recognizing areas for improvement and tracking evolving demographics.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Dynamic and Inclusive Culture is also one of the 10 University-wide indicators of success in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/strategic-plan\/progress-update\/#powerbi-dashboard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">University Action Plan<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> (UAP), measuring progress towards Brock\u2019s priorities. This indicator examines how students, faculty and staff experience the campus environment, including perceptions of equity and inclusion.
