{"id":109271,"date":"2026-04-23T17:15:09","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T21:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=109271"},"modified":"2026-04-23T17:15:15","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T21:15:15","slug":"campus-road-closures-planned-for-childrens-water-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2026\/04\/campus-road-closures-planned-for-childrens-water-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Campus road closures planned for children\u2019s water festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brock University will welcome Grade 4 students from across the region next week for the Niagara Children\u2019s Water Festival.<\/p>\n<p>The festival \u2014 which will be hosted at Brock\u2019s main campus from Tuesday, April 28 to Friday, May 1 \u2014 offers students hands-on opportunities to learn about water conservation and environmental stewardship.<\/p>\n<p>The Brock community is advised of the following road and parking lot closures during the event:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A section of University Road West and Village Road\u00a0will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to all traffic except permit holders, contractors, accessible vehicles, emergency vehicles and Brock maintenance staff in marked vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Village Road\u00a0will be closed daily from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Lot P\u00a0and Lot 3 Overnight West (formerly 3A)\u00a0will be closed from Thursday, April 23 to Friday, May 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alternative parking is available for the Brock community during the event.
