Dear\u00a0members of the Brock University\u00a0community,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the process set out in Brock University\u2019s\u202f<\/span>Presidential Appointment Procedures<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>the Board of Trustees has\u00a0initiated\u00a0a review to inform a recommendation\u00a0regarding\u00a0the reappointment of Lesley Rigg, President and Vice-Chancellor,\u00a0for a\u00a0subsequent\u00a0five-year\u00a0term.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An Advisory\u00a0Review\u00a0Committee on the President\u00a0has been\u00a0established\u00a0to\u00a0advise\u00a0the Board as part of this process. A key\u00a0component\u00a0of the review is consultation with the University community, and\u00a0feedback may be\u00a0submitted\u00a0until Friday, Feb. 13<\/b><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Opportunity to\u00a0provide\u00a0input<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Members of the University community are invited to provide\u00a0confidential\u00a0written submissions that speak to the President\u2019s performance and leadership during the current term, including progress toward institutional priorities, effectiveness in advancing the University\u2019s mission and strategic goals, and overall leadership of the institution. This feedback will be considered by the Advisory\u00a0Review\u00a0Committee as part of its assessment and recommendation\u00a0regarding\u00a0reappointment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that anonymous submissions are not\u00a0permitted. Contributors\u00a0are required to\u00a0include their name and Brock affiliation.\u00a0Submissions\u00a0will be shared\u00a0confidentially\u00a0with members of the Advisory\u00a0Review\u00a0Committee on the President\u00a0and will not be\u00a0disclosed\u00a0more broadly. Feedback will be considered in confidence, and any reporting of consultation input\u00a0to the President\u00a0will be provided in summary form\u00a0with no\u00a0individual\u00a0identifying\u00a0information.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Consultation\u00a0timeline<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Members of the University community are invited to\u00a0submit\u00a0feedback by completing\u00a0an\u00a0<\/span>online\u00a0consultation form<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0Both individual and group submissions are welcome.\u00a0The deadline for submission is Friday, Feb. 13<\/b><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Individuals or groups\u00a0may also be invited\u00a0to meet with the Committee\u00a0following their submission\u00a0when\u00a0clarification or\u00a0additional\u00a0context\u00a0is needed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Advisory\u00a0Review\u00a0Committee values the perspectives of the University community and encourages participation in this important process.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
