{"id":105629,"date":"2025-10-30T15:32:28","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T19:32:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=105629"},"modified":"2025-11-03T11:14:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T16:14:08","slug":"international-robotics-championship-to-draw-thousands-to-brock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2025\/10\/international-robotics-championship-to-draw-thousands-to-brock\/","title":{"rendered":"International robotics championship to draw thousands to Brock"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Youth from across the globe will come together at Brock University next spring to tackle real-world issues with an innovative solution: robots.<\/p>\n<p>In June, Brock will host the <a href=\"https:\/\/firstroboticscanada.org\/canadacupofrobotics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canada Cup of Robotics \u2013 Niagara 2026<\/a>, an international championship that will see teams design, build and program problem-solving robots on site.<\/p>\n<p>Held from June 13 to 20, the event will feature the <em>FIRST<\/em> Tech Challenge and the <em>FIRST<\/em> LEGO League competitions taking place across Brock University\u2019s St. Catharines campus and the adjacent Canada Games Park.
