{"id":104785,"date":"2025-09-25T12:22:02","date_gmt":"2025-09-25T16:22:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=104785"},"modified":"2025-09-25T16:31:46","modified_gmt":"2025-09-25T20:31:46","slug":"opportunities-abound-for-brocks-aspiring-educators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2025\/09\/opportunities-abound-for-brocks-aspiring-educators\/","title":{"rendered":"Opportunities abound for Brock\u2019s aspiring educators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Market Hall was humming with excitement during Brock University\u2019s Teacher Recruitment Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 24.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by the Co-op, Career and Experiential Education (CCEE) team, the industry-focused event brought more than 30 education partners to campus, including school boards representing elementary and secondary schools across Niagara and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty of Education students, some of whom will be embarking on their careers next year, had the opportunity to learn about teaching jobs, placements, educator roles and teach abroad opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Julia Zhu, CCEE Director, said it was inspiring to see Brock\u2019s future educators connecting directly with school boards and global partners.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re grateful for the continued collaboration with the Faculty of Education, which helps make events like the Teacher\u2019s Recruitment Fair so impactful.
