The Brock University Students\u2019 Union (BUSU)<\/a> and Graduate Students\u2019 Association (GSA)<\/a> are teaming up to support their fellow Badgers with a slate of free food events this term.<\/p>\n

Offered as part of the Food First Program<\/a>, the events will provide free meals and snacks on Brock\u2019s main campus and at the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts<\/a> in downtown St. Catharines.<\/p>\n

\u201cFood insecurity is a growing problem for students, which is why the Food First program is so important,\u201d said BUSU President Fiona Seabrook. \u201cStudents should be able to focus on their studies without worrying about where their next meal is coming from, and these events not only help meet that need, but also provide a welcoming space where students can connect with one another.”<\/p>\n

Students can grab a to-go bag of healthy snacks during Grab and Go Breakfasts every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday outside Union Station in the Student-Alumni Centre from 8:45 a.m. until supplies run out.<\/p>\n
