A beloved Brock tradition is set to return this week, bringing bushels of fun to the University\u2019s main campus.<\/p>\n
The annual Homecoming Grape Stomp<\/a> will see hundreds of students and alumni \u2014 many dressed in white \u2014 dive into two metric tonnes of local Concord grapes, creating a juice slip and slide through Jubilee Court on Friday, Sept. 19.<\/p>\n Paying homage to Niagara\u2019s wine country connections, the highly anticipated event kicks off at noon, with check-in beginning at 11:30 a.m.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s nothing quite like being in the middle of a flurry of flying fruit surrounded by your Brock University family. It\u2019s an unforgettable experience,\u201d says Carolyn Hough, Manager, Student Leadership and Engagement. \u201cThere\u2019s a reason why this event has been called one of the best university traditions in Canada.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to the stomping fun, the day will also feature live music by Avenue Inn \u2014 filled with alumni band members \u2014 and a free barbecue, sponsored by Aramark (while supplies last). The menu will include burgers, spiced chippers and grape cotton candy, with dietary accommodations available.<\/p>\n To register for Grape Stomp, visit ExperienceBU<\/a>.
