With just a week until Homecoming, the Brock community is gearing up for packed weekends of celebrations, activities and reunions.<\/p>\n
Grads and students, along with their families, will gather for a packed schedule of on-campus and virtual events from Friday, Sept. 19 to Sunday, Sept. 21.<\/p>\n
The weekend\u00a0kicks off with a coffee hour for alumni faculty and staff<\/a> at 9 a.m. and Brock\u2019s beloved Grape Stomp<\/a> at noon on Sept. 19. The iconic \u2014 and messy \u2014 tradition takes place from noon to 1 p.m. in Jubilee Court.<\/p>\n The first day of Homecoming wraps up with the 26th annual\u00a0Steel Blade Classic<\/a> hockey game\u00a0at the Meridian Centre where the Badgers men\u2019s hockey team will face off against long-time rivals the Guelph Gryphons. Alumni VIP ticket holders<\/a>\u00a0will enjoy an exclusive vantage point from the Meridian Centre\u2019s fourth-floor lounge, featuring private bar service and complimentary stadium-style snacks.<\/p>\n Saturday, Sept. 20\u00a0features a meditation class; the\u00a0Badger Brunch<\/a>; family-friendly activities, including a reading by a children\u2019s author and swimming; and live music at\u00a0Cat\u2019s Caboose for Pub Night<\/a>. Alumni from the classes of 1975 and 2000 will also be honored during a special\u00a0pinning ceremony\u00a0and reception.<\/p>\n For grads who can\u2019t make it home to campus this year, the weekend includes a webinar on artificial intelligence<\/a> and a digital Zumba class<\/a>.<\/p>\n Tips for first-time Homecoming attendees:<\/p>\n\n
