{"id":104018,"date":"2025-08-26T13:16:23","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T17:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=104018"},"modified":"2025-08-26T16:07:43","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T20:07:43","slug":"parking-reminders-for-move-in-weekend-fall-term","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2025\/08\/parking-reminders-for-move-in-weekend-fall-term\/","title":{"rendered":"Parking reminders for Move-In Weekend, Fall Term"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the start of Fall Term just days away, Parking Services is reminding the Brock community to review parking payment options and regulations before heading to campus.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers should be aware of the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Permits and paid parking are required in all lots on campus Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>An evening flat rate of $6 is available for those parking on campus between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Daily, hourly and evening parking are available through the HONK mobile app. Payment can also be made in-person at a <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/parking-services\/customer-service\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parking Services location<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/parking-services\/parking-on-campus\/permit-parking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Annual permits<\/a>\u00a0are still on sale for staff, faculty and students. Annual permits are valid from Sept. 1 to Aug. 31 and include the spring and summer period.<\/li>\n<li>Parking is enforced 24-7 in all lots.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A significant increase in traffic is expected on campus throughout the Labour Day long weekend with Residence Move-In taking place Saturday, Aug. 30 and Sunday, Aug. 31.<\/p>\n<p>The B1, B2, 3, 4, H, J, K, O, P and Quarry View lots will be unavailable from 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29 to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
