Employees selected from nearly 90 on- and off-campus activities designed to promote physical and mental wellness.<\/p>\n<p>Returning favourites such as visits to The Watering Can, Brock Golf Course and the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) were joined by new experiences including birdwatching, fishing and art collection tours.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_102758\" style=\"width: 350px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/WellnessDayChamp-scaled.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-102758\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-102758 \" src=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/WellnessDayChamp-1050x700.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"340\" height=\"227\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-102758\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lisa Peso, Manager, Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre, was recognized as this year\u2019s Health, Safety and Wellness Champion by James Iseghayan, Director, Health, Safety and Wellness during the closing ceremonies of Brock\u2019s annual Wellness Day on Monday, June 23.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>One of the day\u2019s highlights was the Wellness Day Barbecue and 60th Anniversary Social, co-hosted by the President\u2019s Office. The event brought colleagues together over a shared meal in celebration of both Wellness Day and Brock\u2019s milestone anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>During the closing ceremony, Lisa Peso, Manager, Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre, was recognized as this year\u2019s Health, Safety and Wellness Champion.<\/p>\n<p>Organized by the University\u2019s Health, Safety and Wellness team, the event
