{"id":102029,"date":"2025-06-03T16:27:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T20:27:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=102029"},"modified":"2025-06-03T16:38:45","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T20:38:45","slug":"brock-university-and-st-clair-college-launch-fast-track-to-sport-management-degree","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2025\/06\/brock-university-and-st-clair-college-launch-fast-track-to-sport-management-degree\/","title":{"rendered":"Brock University and St. Clair College launch fast-track to Sport Management degree"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students looking to kick their sport industry career into high gear now have a new path to programming at Brock University.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brock University<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stclaircollege.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">St. Clair College<\/a> have formalized a transfer pathway to enhance program options for students interested in pursuing a <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/programs\/undergraduate\/sport-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bachelor of Sport Management<\/a> (BSM) degree.<\/p>\n<p>The articulation agreement delivers a seamless roadmap from St. Clair\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stclaircollege.ca\/programs\/sport-recreation-management\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sport and Recreation Management<\/a> advanced diploma program to Brock\u2019s BSM program. Eligible students will receive eight transfer credits, reducing time to degree completion and offering cost savings.<\/p>\n<p>By building on their existing education, students can accelerate their entry into the sport management industry, pursuing careers in areas such as operations, recruitment, athlete performance analysis, marketing, communications and event planning.
