Brock has recruited highly experienced executive fundraiser Rob Gottschalk (BBA ’01) to lead its University advancement team as Associate Vice-President, Alumni and Development, effective May 22.\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gottschalk brings more than 25 years of experience in fundraising, campaign development and implementation, strategic planning and stakeholder relations to the role.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer for the Canadian Nurses Foundation (CNF) and previously held senior roles with The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, Sunnybrook Foundation and McMaster University, where he led and collaborated with colleagues on comprehensive fundraising campaigns totalling more than $750 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gottschalk led the CNF through a significant organizational review and development of its first strategic plan. His focus on increased partnerships and donor support allowed the CNF to award more scholarships, bursaries and other supports to nurses and nursing students across Canada than ever before.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m looking forward to engaging with students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to advance the significant impact Brock has in Niagara, across Canada and around the world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Gottschalk will lead a team responsible for all aspects of fundraising, donor relations and stewardship, and alumni relations.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
