{"id":100673,"date":"2025-04-10T14:42:19","date_gmt":"2025-04-10T18:42:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=100673"},"modified":"2025-04-10T18:05:39","modified_gmt":"2025-04-10T22:05:39","slug":"new-sport-medicine-clinic-to-offer-community-care","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2025\/04\/new-sport-medicine-clinic-to-offer-community-care\/","title":{"rendered":"New Sport Medicine Clinic to offer community care"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whether it\u2019s a sprained ankle from a leisurely walk or a strained back from an ambitious volleyball play, Brock Sport Medicine Clinic has the expertise to help.<\/p>\n<p>The University has opened its second clinic location, with the new space focused on delivering care to the Brock and wider Niagara community.<\/p>\n<p>Located on the second floor of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadagamespark.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canada Games Park<\/a>, adjacent to Brock\u2019s main campus, the new clinic marks the expansion of services previously offered only to student-athletes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Through Brock Sport\u00a0Medicine and Athletic Therapy, we have serviced our student-athletes for more than 30 years,&#8221; said Steve Lidstone, Associate Director of Sport Medicine and Sport Performance. &#8220;It was time for us to open a clinic that offers world-class services to the community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All Brock students, staff and faculty, as well as community members in need of treatment, can now access the clinic.
