{"id":100108,"date":"2025-03-21T13:12:17","date_gmt":"2025-03-21T17:12:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=100108"},"modified":"2025-03-25T10:05:16","modified_gmt":"2025-03-25T14:05:16","slug":"brock-lauds-open-education-resource-champions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2025\/03\/brock-lauds-open-education-resource-champions\/","title":{"rendered":"Brock lauds open education resource champions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brock University recognized faculty members, instructors and lab supervisors who advance the use of <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/library\/oer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">open education resources<\/a> (OER) during a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2025\/03\/celebrating-milestones-during-open-education-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Open Education Week<\/a> celebration.<\/p>\n<p>The University&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/vp-academic\/academic-plan\/\">Academic Plan<\/a> pledges to support the creation, adaptation and adoption of OER. As part of that commitment, and with the financial support of the Brock University Students&#8217; Union, the Office of the Provost established an <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/library\/oer\/grants\/\">OER Grant program<\/a> in 2023.
