Brock's Marilyn I Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts hosted a closing reception for Turkish Visiting International Canan Demir on Monday, July 23. Attendees were able to meet with the artist and learn about her installations and her research on recycling systems and the use of scrap materials in sculpture. Canan and her husband Serkan have been working with the school for the past 11 months.
