As part of the Teaching and Research Technology Showcase that took place in Market Hall on Thursday, Dec. 6, Earth Sciences Associate Professor Dan McCarthy shows Computer Science Assistant Professor Robson De Grande the drone he plans on using to capture 3D imaging. McCarthy currently captures 3D images using on a one-of-a-kind tool created by employees in the University's Machine Shop. Approximately 100 faculty and staff attended the second annual event, which included 10 new breakout sessions this year in addition to the poster sessions.
