Exploring options at the Aboriginal Career Fair

Grade 11 student Alex Michael of E.L. Crossley Secondary School, right, spoke with Statistics Canada Analyst Kory Goulais, left, during the Aboriginal Career Fair on Friday, Nov. 23 in Brock's Pond Inlet. The annual event is presented in partnership with Niagara College, the District School Board of Niagara and the Niagara Catholic District School Board and featured 21 booths from Aboriginal agencies, government agencies, post-secondary institutions and private-sector employers. Nearly 100 students of First Nations, Métis and Inuit descent attended the event, which also included lunch, prizes and keynote speeches from current Brock students.
