Oscar winner Colin Chilvers shared his expertise and insights about his extensive career in special effects Thursday, March 15 with students from Brock's Communication, Popular Culture and Film fourth-year internship course. Chilvers won the Academy Award for Special Achievement in 1979 for his work on the 1978 Superman movie, starring Christopher Reeve. Chilvers is also known for his work on The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Condorman and X-Men.
