The team from Brock University’s Centre for Pedagogical Innovation (CPI) gathered virtually to recognize Orange Shirt Day, which raises awareness of the history and ongoing effects of Canada’s residential school system. In addition to sporting their orange shirts, the group also discussed some of the initiatives happening at Brock related to the spirit of healing, commemoration, action, decolonization and reconciliation, as well as further actions that could contribute to these initiatives in the upcoming year.
