Norton and Brant keep watch over Indigenous Healing Garden

The paper sculptures of Indigenous military leaders John Norton (Teyoniinhokawawen) and John Brant (Ahyouwa'ehs), who played a vital role in the War of 1812 alongside the University's namesake, keep a watchful eye over the Indigenous Healing Garden on the north side of the Roy and Lois Cairns Health and Bioscience Research Complex. The sculptures are the paper composites used for the bronze statues of Norton and Brant which are installed at the Landscape of Nations Commemorative Memorial at Queenston Heights.
