On Thursday, Nov. 7, Mexican students Grisel Maldonado, Aline Guerrero, Mayra Osornio and Rosalinda Hernandez experienced their first snowfall on Brock's main campus. The group recently joined Brock’s English as a Second Language (ESL) program as part of a special scholarship opportunity. They arrived in Canada on Oct. 21 for a four-week program thanks to a joint government initiative with Mexico called Proyecta, which provides undergraduate students and teachers in Mexico with funding for ESL programming to further their academic and professional aspirations.
