International Open Day draws global audience

Last week, more than 600 incoming and prospective international students, parents and high school counsellors from more than 68 countries took part in Brock's International Open Day. The virtual conference-style event was held from Thursday, Nov. 26 to Friday, Nov. 27 to teach students about the many aspects of university life at Brock. International Student Ambassadors (clockwise from left) Santiago Negret Rey, a fourth-year Game Programming student from Colombia, Faryal Zehra, a first-year Business Communications student from Pakistan, and Hamed Karagahi, a second-year Public Health student from Iran, were part of a virtual panel where they shared first-hand experience of university life in Canada and what they love most about Brock. Those who were unable to attend the event can watch recordings of the sessions here.
