High school students explore Brock programs

More than 700 secondary school students from the Niagara region and Greater Toronto Area visited Brock between Tuesday, April 25 and Friday, April 28 to get a feel for life on campus. Their days included mock lectures, lab demonstrations and a variety of other opportunities that showcased the Brock student experience. Most groups were part of their high school's Specialist High Skills Major program, with overall themes covering business, biology and chemistry, health and wellness and the social sciences. Ingrid Makus, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, and Rebecca Raby, Interim Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences, welcomed more than 300 students to social sciences day.
