Suzune Oka and Nao Okubo, visiting students from Doshisha University in Japan, attended a Pumpkin Carving event hosted by Brock ESL Services on Wednesday, Oct. 6. The pair are among a group of students visiting from the Japanese partner institute to study English. The event gave students the opportunity to experience a North American holiday tradition while practising their English with their fellow classmates.
