Food for the soul

Debbie Tordiff, Food Services Worker, hands Zach Dadson, Government Relations Advisor, part of his meal while more than 150 Brock employees gathered in the DeCew Residence Dining Hall for Mental Health Week’s barbecue luncheon on Wednesday, May 3. Hosted by Brock’s Health Management and Wellness team in partnership with Aramark, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Niagara Branch. The lunch was part of a broader calendar of events intended to promote relaxation and resilience while helping to eliminate the stigma of mental illness in the workplace. Employees are encouraged to participate by sharing random acts of kindness notes on the chalkboard wall across from the Brock Card office in Thistle Complex during the rest of Mental Health Week.
