Dolls created in memory of missing and murdered Indigenous women

Brock employees Darlene Morris and Carly Silenzi, both Accounts Payable Assistants in the Finance Office, and Claire Gallop, Administrative Assistant in the Philosophy Department, created faceless dolls Tuesday, Dec. 4 during an event hosted by Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) District 35. The union's annual lunchtime project commemorates National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. This year's Faceless Dolls Project honours the more than 600 missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls in Canada. The dolls were on display at an event co-sponsored by OSSTF on Thursday, Dec. 6 in South Block.
