Community comes together on court

Hosted by Brock for its long-time community partner Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre (NFAMC), the friendly matchup sees community leaders and Canadian newcomers hit the court for an afternoon of sport and camaraderie. Brad Clarke, Associate Vice-President, Students and Interim Associate Vice-President, Equity, provided opening remarks acknowledging the Memorandum of Understanding between Brock and NFAMC and how it works to build strong and inclusive communities by embracing and welcoming new friends and neighbours. The event was a warm welcome for the newcomer team, who brought the heat and emerged victorious with a final score of 57-54.
