Community celebrates student artwork

Brock faculty and staff joined members of the local community at the opening of "Face Value: An Exploration of the Self-Portrait through a Multimodal Lens" on Thursday, Jan. 17 at Rodman Hall. The exhibition showcases self-portraits created by 22 Grade 11 and 12 Visual Arts students from Laura Secord Secondary School in St. Catharines as part of a research project by Peter Vietgen, Associate Professor of Art Education in Brock's Department of Educational Studies, and Jennifer Rowsell, Canada Research Chair and Professor in the Department of Educational Studies. Anjali Khirwadkar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Studies, takes in the artwork with Kim Pelchat, Manager of Brock's Instructional Resource Centre.
