To welcome the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Rabbit, the Brock University Chinese Students’ and Scholars Association organized a celebratory event Friday, Jan. 20 in the Goodman atrium. Members of the Brock community, including international students from around the world, came together to participate in a variety of activities, including making dumplings and creating Spring Festival couplets — a traditional way to express blessings and good wishes. The crowd also heard from guest speaker Barry Wright, Dean of the Goodman School of Business, who shared insight into his experience living in China and words of encouragement to motivate students to excel in their studies this year.
