Brock prepares to host Niagara Regional Science and Engineering Fair

Imagine being stuck without clean water in a remote location, where survival may depend on your scientific knowledge of water purification. If your knowledge has become diluted, you may want to turn to Grade Seven student Jael Jones of St. Catharines' St. Theresa Catholic Elementary School, who created a method of turning urine into drinkable water. Brock University's Faculty of Mathematics and Science was honoured to be one of the guest judges at the school's science fair, where Jones earned an invitation to the Niagara Regional Science and Engineering Fair at Brock from March 27 to 29. The Faculty looks forward to seeing all the regional entries and budding scientists learn and grow in their academic pursuits.
