Meaghan Rusnell, Brock University Associate Vice-President Government Relations and Strategic Partnerships (third from the left) was part of the Canada-Caribbean Trade Mission in the Caribbean last month led by the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development. The mission focused on developing opportunities to strengthen Canada’s trade and economic relationships with Guyana, Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. Brock was the only Canadian university invited to attend the trip in person, allowing Rusnell to meet directly with Caribbean universities, research institutes, government officials and chambers of commerce.
