Word on the Street is Canada’s largest free outdoor book and magazine festival and is held annually in major cities across the country. It has been taking place in Toronto since 1989 and draws anywhere from 100,000 to 200,000 attendees annually. This year, the festival was held virtually over 10 days in September.
