The Brock University Cyclones recently ranked the second-highest fundraising team in the Big Move Cancer Ride that took place Sunday, Sept. 8. A team of 19 Brock employees and their friends collectively raised $22,975 in support of patient care equipment for the Walker Family Cancer Centre in St. Catharines, surpassing their $20,000 goal. Top individual fundraisers included Brock Cyclones team members John Suk, former Brock University Board of Trustees Chair, who placed fourth with $5,360 raised; Bill Heelis, who placed seventh with $4,225 raised; and Gary Comerford, current Board Chair, who placed ninth with $3,350 raised.
