Always the landmark

Brock University's Arthur Schmon Tower is one of Niagara region’s most familiar sights. Visible for miles around, for half a century its solitary, distinctive punctuation of the Niagara Escarpment has been a vital navigational aid for sailors and aviators alike. Closer to home, on this bright winter's day it was also a familiar beacon from the hiking trails of the Glenridge Quarry Naturalization Site.
