As part of the Zone expansion project, a crew from Aquicon Construction has been working since Wednesday to create a temporary access route to the Walker Sports Complex courtyard. The route, opposite Thistle Complex, is required to service the courtyard construction site. The work involves the removal of trees, excavation and road construction. The trees scheduled to be removed are in decline and will be replaced when the Zone project is completed. As a result of the access road construction, the sidewalk alongside Thistle Complex between Schmon Tower and the Walker Sports Complex Courtyard is closed.
