The search for Brock’s next Provost and Vice-President, Academic is taking its next steps.
Following the launch of the search process in January, an Advisory Committee — chaired by the University’s President and Vice-Chancellor — has been selected to oversee the hiring and the job posting is now live.
This follows extensive consultation with the Brock community that began last month that has encouraged faculty, librarians, staff and students to share their thoughts on the priorities for the position as well as the experience and characteristics the chosen candidate should possess.
Feedback gathered from consultation sessions, as well as an online survey that remains active, will inform the Advisory Committee’s discussions. Consultation is expected to continue into March.
The University has engaged executive search firm KBRS to support the hiring process.
