Building Better Research workshops return for Winter Term

The Building Better Research (BBR) workshop series is off to a robust start for 2024, offering wide variety of subject areas to support Brock researchers.

Offered through a partnership between the Brock University Library and the Office of Research Services, the professional development series provides information and tips at all stages of the research process, from idea generation to results dissemination.

The online workshops are open to novice and experienced researchers and staff, with topics reflecting requests from Brock’s research community as well as emerging trends in research funding, says Jayne Morrish, Knowledge Mobilization Officer with the Office of Research Services.

She says the series reflects Brock’s ongoing commitment to research excellence.

“The revival of the Building Better Research series for the Winter Term underscores the University’s dedication to empowering faculty, students and staff in their research pursuits,” says Morrish. “In collaboration with the Brock Library, these workshops stand as a cornerstone in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development, essential for advancing our collective research endeavours.”

Those interested in participating can register on ExperienceBU through the links below. All workshops take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout January and February.
