Stage set for return of Brock Music ensembles

Brock University’s Music ensembles will ring in the holiday season with performances at FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre (PAC) in downtown St. Catharines.

Opening the series is a performance by the Brock University Choir on Sunday, Nov. 26 with conductor Shawn Grenke. The choir brings together members of the Brock community and is accompanied by piano, cello and percussion.

The Brock University String Orchestra will perform seasonal gems from the string repertoire with conductor George Cleland on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

Brock Big Band takes the stage for a lively performance with conductor Zoltan Kalman on Monday, Dec. 4. The concert will feature the vocal talents of Juliet Dunn for two selections on the program.

The concert series will close with a performance by the Brock University Wind Ensemble, with Kalman as conductor, that will bring together members of the Niagara musical community.

Tickets are $15 or $10 for children 14 and under. Tickets are available through the PAC Box Office.
