Seeking reflections on the student experience

Undergraduate students nearing completion of their program are being invited to provide feedback on Brock’s ability to prepare them for success by measuring outcomes in various skills and competencies.

The Undergraduate Student Experience Survey (USES) contains a variety of questions that ask students to reflect on their development over the course of their studies, with specific emphasis on program learning outcomes and career readiness.

This survey is being sent out to students as a part of a provincial collective to help Ontario universities learn about students and their experiences. Students are encouraged to voice their opinions and ensure that future cohorts of Brock students are also set up for success.

Completing the survey will take 10 to 15 minutes. Students who submit a response will automatically be entered into a draw to win one of six $250 Campus Store gift cards, which can be used towards credential framing, Brock swag or other items. One prize will be awarded to a student from each academic Faculty.

The survey launches on Tuesday, Oct. 24 and will remain open until Nov. 17. Survey invitations will be sent directly to selected student email addresses by Brock University Surveys, with a subject line of “Your Undergraduate Student Experience Matters – Tell Us More!”

Questions about USES can be directed to the Department of Institutional Planning, Analysis and Performance at iap@brocku.ca
