Webinar to showcase virtual program’s benefits for accessibility

An upcoming webinar will mark Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) by educating the Brock community on accessible document formats.

Taking place Thursday, May 18 from noon to 1 p.m., the free online event will showcase the Microsoft Sway program and how it can serve as an effective substitute for traditional formats such as Word and PDF.

Hosted by the Office of Human Rights and Equity with support from the Brock Niagara Centre of Excellence in Inclusive and Adaptive Physical Activity, the virtual workshop will feature demonstrations, tips and a Q&A session that aim to help participants create inclusive and engaging content for all users, regardless of their abilities.

Further information and registration details can be found on the event’s Microsoft Teams link.

Additional questions about the event can be sent to accessibility@brocku.ca
