Makers and entrepreneurs wanted for Brock’s first Badger Bazaar

Brock University’s Alumni Relations office will host its inaugural Badger Bazaar this September and is calling all alumni, student, staff and faculty makers to apply as vendors.

“The Badger Bazaar is more than just a marketplace,” says Christine Richard, Alumni Relations Officer. “It’s an exciting opportunity for the Brock community to come together and showcase their talent and entrepreneurial spirit right here in Niagara.”

The Badger Bazaar will be held on Sunday, Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the St. Catharines Market Square.

Creators, makers and entrepreneurs are invited to apply for a space at the Badger Bazaar by Thursday, June 15. Applicants will receive a status update by Friday, June 30.

Approved vendors will be provided with an eight-foot table, with the option of added linen, and the opportunity to sell their custom products and wares at the event. Examples of acceptable vendor products include:

  • art
  • candles
  • houseware goods
  • beauty products
  • clothing/fashion items
  • digital products
  • games, toys, or books
  • pre-packaged food products such as jams, baked goods, honey, etc. (direct food handling at the event is prohibited)
