Brock community mourns loss of student Liam Zisman

The Brock University community is mourning the death of first-year student Liam Zisman on Monday, Jan. 3.

Zisman was a Bachelor of Science student in Brock’s Environmental Geoscience program who had overcome cancer and was known for his bravery and courage. He is remembered by those closest to him for his extensive travels, quick sense of humour and kind-hearted nature.

A funeral took place Wednesday, Jan. 5 and the flags at Brock University have been lowered to half mast on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

In lieu of gifts or flowers, contributions may be made to The Liam Jacob Zisman Memorial Fund, to be directed to Chai Lifeline Canada and Camp Quality Canada c/o The Benjamin Foundation at 416-780-0324 or at benjamins.ca

Staff and students are invited to leave a message of condolence to the family through an online memorial book.
