Talk to focus on navigating the journey from service to leadership

Suzanne Curtin, Vice-Provost and Dean of Brock University’s Faculty of Graduate Studies, will talk about how she transitioned service roles into leadership opportunities during the next Women in Leadership (WIL) meeting.

The conversation, “Accidentally on purpose: Transforming service into leadership,” will take place online Tuesday, June 22, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Curtin, who is also a Professor of Child and Youth Studies, will speak about the professional development steps she took to enhance her leadership skills and the key mentors who supported her academic and leadership journey. Additionally, she will discuss some of the challenges faced by women academics as they move into leadership positions.

Details on this and other upcoming sessions, including dates, descriptions and login details are available on the Women in Leadership website.
