Virtual computer labs to go live Sept. 1 for students

With the Fall Term set to begin soon, new virtual computer labs will go live on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at noon for students.

Two virtual computer labs will temporarily replace the on-campus computer labs while the majority of classes are held online. One will be a Mac lab and the second will be a Windows lab to ensure accessibility for all students

Students will be able to log in from anywhere and at any time to access software typically found in the computer labs on campus, such as SPSS, SAS and Minitab. Faculty and instructors teaching in virtual labs have already been granted access.

To help secure the virtual labs, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be required for all users beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1. For information on how to enrol, visit the MFA page on the Information Technology Services (ITS) website.

Any questions can be directed to the ITS Help Desk.
